So this is a quick entry I whipped up for DYON Summer 06 contest and my hand is cramped up. ><
Heres the required stats!

Name: Mikata Kaibutsu
Age: 15
Gender: F
Rank: Genin
Family History: Sad sad story. Just like practically everyone else in Naruto, so why not share the pain?
Dating back to her original clansmen, to her very origins all 5 or 6 generations ago (not very long. I had to be dramatic), her "people," moreless... experiments were created to first help control the chaos and turmoil caused by the demons, like Kyubbi and whonot. They were called the 'Kaibutsu' or plain old 'monster' (I'm writing all this from the top of my head/memory, so sue me if I don't have any proper terms and whatnot.) Because the demons were tremendously strong, these experiments had to have a power that could hold back such power. Thats pretty crazy right? So the people being protected by these 'superbeasts' were afraid and shunned the creators and their creations.
They didn't take this so well. So they began using their creations against the good of man kind.
Just so you know, these 'superbeasts' were created without a mind of their own. They were the 'perfect shinobi.' However, there was one experiment that was considered a failure (there were several but this one was unique) because he was 'birthed' will a mind, a sense of self independence, a sense of free will. He escaped the awful lifestyle but the creators needed him hunted down.
They hadn't found the escapee until he started his own family in a different village. 5 generations of running, fighting, escaping the clutches and being killed off by the hideous kaibutsu, only a few manage to survive and start their own families and survive further years. Eventually the superbeasts killed off every single family member of the escapee. However, the youngest daughter of the 4th generation ran to Konoha and met her man and started a normal life in peace. She and her lover get married and give birth to Mikata! WOOT.
At age 5, the year she was enrolled in the Ninja academy, her parents went out on a mission and was killed by the superbeasts on the way home. Thankfully her parents were very close friends to non other than the Uchihas! Mikata goes and lives with Sasuke's family, becomes a sister to Sasuke until that very fateful day where the Uchiha's were wiped out.
Itachi kills her, or so he thinks. Because of the blood that runs through her veins, Mikata survives the fatal blow. However, she finds herself out in the wilderness, outside of her hometown, lost at the age of 9.
Eventually she comes back to the village. 'how' is another story.

Personality: At first coming back to the village she's shy and quiet. But as she grows more accustomed to a normal life again, she becomes friendly and protective over the ones she cares about. She cares for all her friends. She can't stand arrogant cocky people, like Neji. Though she knows of her power and strength, she doens't stop training to her most and is determined to be able to protect EVERYONE in the village because she doesn't ever want to see anyone die again. In a middle of a fight she can get quite impatient or quick tempered. But all around she is a caring loving person to those she cares and is cared back by, a total bitch to arrogant people, and a determined fighter.

Personal Bio: After the Uchiha massacre, everyone thinks she is one of the dead. A little Kabuto, who was watching his doctor guardien prepare the dead for the body removal squad (or whatever they are called), he notices that this one girl is still alive, despite a huge gash on her neck right by her jugular. Being a spy for Orochimaru, he thought this kid might be good to take back to him. While waiting outside the village for other subordinates to take the girl so Kabuto can go back, Mikata wakes up and runs for her life becuase she's freaking scared. Only to get herself lost in a strange alien world. 5 years later, after training, looking for a way home, discovering all the jutsus she could possibly find, Naruto and gang find her and bring her back to Konoha, where she is presently a Genin who is still trying to reaccustom herself to living a normal life in a place where she once called home.

Weapons of Choice: Her usual katana, but due to her uber cool ability to control chakra, she fully relies on that.

Jutsus: kaibutsu blood runs through her veins very strongly. There are endless possibilities for her. She loves her storm jutsus, where she gathers a huge amount of chakra in the atmosphere around her, building up a storm. Clouds lightening rain etc. Then by performing several complicated signs, she creates a tornado and sweeps up the storm above and plummels it to the enemy below. Because her ansestors were made to contain and hold back demon powers, her chakra levels and ability to control them are outstanding. Many would consider her a monster (doi) so she creates her own chakra barriers only to open them when needed (if the opponent is super strong etc). She can feel her opponents chakra and where in their body it builds up so she has a small heads up on how her enemy may attack. She can feel body temperature and locate hidden enemies as if shes a human thermograph.

Likes: Learning! Learning/practicing/ jutsus. (And maybe stealing others when she feels devious bahha) Watching the stars, hiding out behind or even in waterfalls, swimming, cleaning, babysitting and jogging in the morning. Training with Lee. Doggies.

Dislikes: Neji, at first. (AT FIRST KEY WORDS) arrogant cocky people. People who treat others unkindly. Messyness. Misquitoes. Potatoes. Creeps.

Future dreams, hopes, and goals: TO BECOME THE FUTURE HOKAGE!!!!

To find her origins (she has no idea of her family's past) and find her parents killers. She wishes to have revenge, aka, KILL ITACHI for screwing her's and Sasuke's lives over, but she stays back because she knows that Sasuke is the only one who cna do that.
To be the top assassin in the Ninja world???? *shruggs*
